How to Book a Park

  1. Determine which city you want to host your event in

Consider where your guests will be driving in from and find a park in a city that is most convenient location for all. See our resources for locating parks here!

  2. find a Park in the city you have chosen

Use Google Maps to see parks in the city you have chosen. You can also use Google Maps to view photos of the park. Ideally look for parks In addition, use Yelp and / or Google to look up reviews for parks, if available.

  3. once you have chosen a park, research the park’s requirements

Many parks have specific requirements and guidelines for use of public space. The best sources for this information is either the park’s website or contacting the Department of Parks and Recreation. Permits and reservations typically mean the same thing and depending on the city and number of guests fees can range anywhere from $20 to $100.

When contacting the park authorities, simply state that is for a birthday party with “X” number of guests. You may feel inclined to mention that Nerf blasters and inflatables are involved, but this may throw some red flags as they may believe that you mean jumper sized inflatables requiring a special permit. The inflatables we use are not nearly as big. Therefore, we suggest keeping it simple and tell the park authorities it a birthday party event.

  4. Some Parks may require proof of insurance

If a park requires proof of insurance, please let us know within at least 3 days before the event and we will provide proof of insurance and add the park to our insurance at no additional charge.

  5. Once your booking is finalized and all fees are paid, let us know!

Note: The best parks are ones with lots of grass space and some shade in area that is roughly 25' x 50'.  If you cannot find anything matching these dimensions, that is okay! It does not have to be exact and we can modify to whatever space you have picked. Just please try to stay away from hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete. It increases chance for scrapes and bruises on our players. Thank you!
